2001 X5 E53 4.4ltr - Sudden loss of reverse. I've been browsing this forum via google for days now watching/trying solutions to my problem. I left my house (reversed) without an issue, long drive to my brothers house. On leave, reversed of his driveway with little/no reverse, very weak. So far, I've drained the transmission the best I could and Here is my personal observation of the problem. I have ~4000 miles on my 2019 X5 x40i. All my observations are coming from information collected from a 4K DVR and a relatively fast GPS receiver for speed measurements, and a fast and sensitive accelerometer/motion processing unit in my vehicle (a cell phone accelerometer is too slow to register this kind of problem).
