The original Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is an open-world action RPG that, at its core, isn’t that different from similar endeavours, such as Skyrim. The player creates their very own character before setting off to explore a massive world, aid numerous cities and townsfolk, join and climb the ranks of various factions, take on a plethora of side quests, and maybe – just maybe – focus on that Healers are NPCs that provide healing services, for a fee. For a game that was in development for roughly seven years, the different gameplay systems don't seem all that well-thought-out. And perhaps the lengthy development also explains why Amalur brings absolutely nothing fresh to the table. It simply lacks its own identity. Elder Scrolls may separate each game into each part of the whole continent, but Amalur contains the whole Faelands, though, admittedly, the whole of Tamriel in Elder Scrolls is way bigger. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I recommend trying The Elder Scroll series if you like Kingdoms of Amalur or vice versa.
