I never use the parking break IRL anyway, since the risk of the cables getting stuck due to rust and dirt is too high compared to just leaving a vehicle in gear. And automatic transmissions don't need the parking brake at all unless you're on some extreme hill in the himalayas. The Parking Brake is there for a reason. The work around for the sleep issue that I use is to open the console and then type in what ever time I want to wake up.. For example g_set_time xx where xx = the time I want to wake up like 06 for 6am. Hey folks, been a long time since I spent any time on this sim. When set to simple automatic is want me to push the brake to reverse which is so counter intuitive it's unreal and makes parking the trailer crazy hard.
